All Hallow’s Eve

The waning moon watches the revelers’ scurry about calling for tricks or treats
A shadow moves against the darkness. Stray cat cuddles up against the chimney.
The veil between the world’s grows thin.
The lost heart awakens after the dumb supper seeking the lost soul.
Where have you gone?
Can you see me now!
I miss you so much.
The mist rises and nothing can ever be the same.
The geese call out as they fly over the river and the owl hunts over the warren.
All hallow’s eve has begun.

  1. Not really sure about the “dumb supper” analogy. The rest is very excellent at painting the picture of mystery apparitions and eerie feelings of the outside world on All Hallows Eve.
