The words are somewhat similar to a quotation from “The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde.

I fail to see how Piero’s quote is similar “somewhat” to the Wilde quote. Not at all. Piero’s quote is quite well said in his own style and meaning. Smart man our Piero!
