Sparrow Migration

Sunday morning rolled in weary.
A flock of sparrows invade the chokecherry tree. How they flutter and chatter
The crickets chirp in the fields now. Soon it will be Corn Moon. Gather as ye may.
Oh! The summer season is passing already! The migration is starting!

The cardinal returns to the hydrangea. The woodpecker peeps louder.
The chicka-dee-dee-dee sails in. It’s time, It’s time, It’s time. The earth has moved and so do we. Oh! The fall season is rising already! The trees start to drowse! And so do I. Rest as ye may.
